The window today belongs to John Knox House in the Royal Mile. I'm filming here today as part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival which finishes tomorrow. It's a gorgeous building which fuses this ancient house with a modern extension. Well worth a look. Picture taken at 14:00 on a lovely Friday.

I'm dog-sitting today so there's a rather wet dog siting in my window. It's been raining all day in Edinburgh so multiple cups of tea have been consumed and lots of TV has been watched. It's a bit luxurious being off on a weekday (not to mention unusual) so I like to indulge in a bit of people watching - Leith is fantastic for this - and the Polish barber opposite always had a great mix of people coming and going. Picture taken at 15:20 and thanks to Winston for modelling.

The kitchen window today which has a really bizarre view. We look out onto the back of a music club which as some grey walls and some white walls. This window is almost impossible to clean hence the ancient mud splatters all the way down it. Picture taken at 8:15am on my last Monday in this flat. Sad face.

Apologies for the rather shonky picture - had a late night watching QT so this was a bit of a bleary eyed shot. The new signs for the cafe have eventually gone up so no doubt it'll open up the moment I move home. A bit of a dull sky today but a crisp atmosphere outside - I could see my breath (slightly) for the very first time this year. Picture taken at 8:06am. Happy Friday.
